International Health Tourism Forum Guilin, China

China is blessed with over 2000 hot springs. It was my privilege to be invited to present on the medical spa potential of China’s hot springs at the International Health Tourism Forum Guilin, China. Asia has approximately 500 million people over the age of sixty, by the year 2030 that will rise to 844 million. This is a huge market which hot springs can tap into by incorporating some treatments from European medical rehabilitation spas.

Medical hot spring stays are proven to lower pain and increase mobility. Because of this guests return year after year. Natural treatments are gaining popularity and to benefit from the hot spring water treatment a 2 week stay is advised. Great business. Guilin was a stunning setting for this highly professional and well assembled conference. It was an honor to attend. Thank you to the organisers.
